Residential Building Starts Show Slight Increase In Soon

Residential building in October increased two percent to $321.7 billion (annual rate), according to Dodge Data & Analytics. Despite the overall increase, single-family housing decreased four percent for the same period. Analysts cited affordability as a continuing market depressant. Single-family building eased in all major geographic regions, except for a four percent bump in the South Atlantic.
