Fire Construction Doors

- Apr 15, 2019-

Exit doors must close automatically and be a "fire door" – a door with an appropriate fire-resistance or fire-protection rating. The exits must have fire-resistant materials separating them from the workplace, with a rating that depends upon the number of occupants and the number of floors in the building that depend upon the exit in an emergency. If your building is three stories or less, for example, the fire resistance rating must be one hour or more.
